Break free from the grip of tobacco and become a non-smoker for life. Our smoking cessation program employs the power of hypnotherapy to address the psychological aspects of addiction, making it easier to quit smoking and maintain a smoke-free lifestyle.
Often when smoking is picked up and our bodies initial response is to reject the tobacco. You may think back to your first cigarette and remember not really liking the smell or taste, you may even have felt or been sick! This is because our bodies are very clever and know what is good for us or in this case, not so good. So overtime you tricked your mind and body in to thinking it is okay to smoke. Your body will have developed a tolerance to the smoke and chemicals and has learned to even crave it. This is what smoking become habit.
In the same way your body has learned to tolerate and crave cigarettes, it is also able to unlearn it. Together we can change your beliefs (e.g. it helps me relax) as well as your habits, helping you let go of this damaging habit.
Many clients come to me when their health has reached a stage of decline that they HAVE to stop as they are being given oxygen, and must be three months smoke-free before they can receive this help. Some are at the point where it is no longer safe for them to travel by plane and can no longer go on holidays. Others are men and women on the IVF waiting-list who must also be three months smoke-free prior to treatment.
So, by kicking the habit you will achieve a greater sense of well-being, improve your physical health and open up opportunities to achieve your goals and desires in life.

Children are amazing and mean the world to us. That’s why it can be so upsetting to see them going through difficult times and facing challenges. Sometimes as a parent you may feel unsure about the course of action to take to help your child, so by seeking outside help you are taking the first steps on a journey to helping not only your child, but yourself.
As a parent you are not expected to be an expert, and seeking therapy can help take some of that pressure off your shoulders. For your child, they will learn that seeking help is a good thing and will develop resilience and skills to set them up for life.
Amy is very experienced in working with children. After a career as a teacher in Primary Education in Scotland, she has seen first hand how the challenges our young people face affect them and their wider life. During this time Amy worked with a wide range of needs and carries this knowledge forward as a hypnotherapist. Amy has undergone additional training to work with children and is PVG registered. Hypnotherapy is a very effective tool to use with children aged 7-15, as they have vivid imaginations that lend themselves to the creative, story-telling nature of hypnotherapy which our subconscious mind very much enjoys!

How does the process work?
Amy likes to have a chat with the parent either by phone or face-to-face, without the child present prior to the first session. During this time she will gather important information, this may include basic health information and background history of the nature of the issue. She will then arrange to meet you both at her clinic in Menstrie. Once your child enters the room, they become the client and Amy will direct all questions to the child (this is why she likes to meet with parents beforehand to get their take on the situation and gather any relevant information).
During the first session with your child Amy will be getting to know your child, their likes and dislikes for use in later sessions. Amy will also provide a recording for your child to listen to between sessions. A parent will always be present in the room, throughout the session. However, occasionally older children (13-15 years) can be seen 1:1 with both parent and child’s permission. Although parents must remain on the premises.
Sessions for children are kept shorter than with adults and are adapted to suit their age and attention span. Their first session will be around 1 hour and subsequent sessions will range from 20-40 minutes, and the charging structure reflects this. The initial session for working with children 15 and under is £60 and subsequent sessions are £40.
Each of these services is tailored to help you overcome specific challenges, improve your well-being, and lead a more fulfilling life. I am here to support you on your journey towards positive change and personal growth.
Your first session is 90 minutes long. This gives us a chance to discuss your experiences, desires and goals. Going forward each session is 60 minutes long and we will work together to make progress towards your best outcome.
Each session is priced at £65 paid 48 hours in advance.
Smoking Cessation is completed in one 90 minute session, priced at £180 paid 48 hours in advance.

After your initial session you will receive an MP3 recording to listen to between sessions. This reinforces the work we do in session and helps you get a better nights sleep. My past clients have ALL reported a vast improvement in the quality of their sleep.

Professional Conduct:
I am qualified clinical hypnotherapist with Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnotherapy. I am a registered member of the NCH (National Council for Hypnotherapy) and adheres to their strict code of ethics. During our sessions, you can expect a respectful, non-judgemental, and supportive environment. I will provide our services with the utmost professionalism and integrity.
Consent and Suitability:
Before beginning any hypnotherapy sessions, I will obtain your informed consent and evaluate the suitability of hypnotherapy for your specific needs. I may ask you to provide relevant medical information or seek permission to consult with your healthcare provider if necessary.
Results and Expectations:
While hypnotherapy can be highly effective, results may vary from person to person. I do not guarantee specific outcomes or make promises of immediate or complete success. We will work collaboratively with you to set realistic goals and facilitate your personal growth and self-improvement.

I understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances may arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure a smooth and efficient process for both parties, I have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation or Rescheduling Requests:
a. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide me with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled session. This allows me to offer the time slot to other clients who may be on the waiting list.
b. You can request a cancellation or reschedule by contacting us directly through phone or email, as provided in our contact information.
Late Cancellations or No-Shows:
a. If you fail to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice before cancelling or rescheduling your appointment, or if you do not show up for your scheduled session (no-show), you will be considered a late cancellation or no-show.
b. Late cancellations and no-shows will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full session fee. This fee will have been charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable in this circumstance. .
Exceptions to the Cancellation Policy:
a. I understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. In such cases, please contact me as soon as possible to explain the situation, and I will consider waiving the cancellation fee.
b. My discretion in waiving the cancellation fee will depend on the specific circumstances and my ability to fill the appointment slot.
Rescheduling Appointments:
a. If you wish to reschedule your appointment within the 24-hour notice period, I will try my best to accommodate your request based on availability.
b. If you frequently request to reschedule within the 24-hour notice period, I reserve the right to enforce the cancellation fee or modify our policies accordingly.
Please note that by scheduling an appointment with me, you agree to comply with our cancellation policy. I believe that this policy is fair to both parties and helps me maintain a consistent and efficient service for all our clients.
